| Description |
Inspired by Joshua Slocum’s “Voyage of the Spray,” the well known naval architect Bruce Roberts designed this blue water yacht whose construction was started in 1989 and completed in 1993. Our pilot house version was built to the highest standards for serious passage making. The construction of “Therapy” is strong, the rigging oversized, and the cruising gear of high quality. Complete documentation of the construction process is available aboard the vessel. Note a rebuilt 49 hp Perkins diesel with only 119 hours, bow thruster, generator, autopilot, wind vane, inside and cockpit wheel steering with navigation systems at both stations, heavy duty rigging, jib and staysail roller furling, heavy duty anchor windlass, and much more.
Hauled and bottom painted 2007, records show that the bottom was prepared for epoxy barrier to prevent osmosis, then painted, had the packing gland repacked, two thru-hulls replaced, new zincs and flappers and the thruster repaired. She is eagerly awaiting her new owner!
