| Description |
Introduced in 1985 as an economy class convertible, the Mediterranean 38 appeals to buyers with an eye for value. Known for her solid, sturdy construction, smooth ride even in tough seas and expansive self-bailing cockpit to accommodate serious anglers or a large family, she quickly came to be an extremely popular boat. Powered by twin 300 hp Caterpillars 3116TA (turbo assisted), she will cruise at an estimated 18 knots and reach a top speed of 27 knots. Furthermore, the hull is known for its efficiency and she provides economy in the range of 1 mile per gallon at a speed of over 20 knots. “Bobby Lynn” has had little use the last couple of years; she is offered for sale at a very reasonable asking price. Note that she was hauled MAy, 2009 with no blisters reported; the engines were serviced September, 2009.
